We want everyone who calls One Life their church home to know God, find friends, discover purpose, and make a difference. These things are already part of our DNA, but we want to raise the bar in the next few years.

A big piece of Awaken Our Church is about reaching the next generation. Specifically, we’re looking to significantly increase our investment, with a focus on improving content to teach our kids and youth who God is and improve their biblical literacy. This also includes upping our efforts to equip parents in discipling their kids at home.

Another part of Awaken Our Church is creating discipleship tools that meet people right where they are. Here’s what we love about being a big church: we can reach a lot of people, and we have the resources to walk alongside anyone who needs them. But here’s the hard truth about big churches: just as wide as the front door is for people to come in, the back door can be just as wide.

We never want to be a church that leaves people feeling unseen or forgotten. A robust Digital Engagement Pathway will help us close that gap with the right technology to help equip and disciple our people.

Accelerate Our Reach

For the gospel to reach every neighborhood, we must strengthen and expand the spaces where ministry happens here and now.

In East Mesa (Eastmark), we’re preparing for a permanent home that will stand as a lasting presence and beacon of hope. This fast-growing area needs a place where ministry can multiply, and by planning now, we can move quickly when the right opportunity comes.

At the same time, in Superior, we’re equipping this young campus to serve as a sending hub for the region (reaching Globe, Miami, and beyond); while our Mesa Campus continues to grow with expanded gathering areas, updated spaces, and more room for kids, students, and ministry teams.

When we invest here and now, we’re not just funding projects—we’re multiplying impact, extending hope, and advancing the gospel across our city and beyond.

Advance Hope To Our World

One of the best ways we can make a difference is by partnering with nonprofits already doing great work. Rather than trying to do everything, we want to be intentional by coming alongside organizations that align with our mission and values. That means choosing partners focused on tangible relief efforts, leadership development, and church planting. Initiatives that don’t just meet immediate needs, but build lasting change and empower local leaders.

As part of this vision to Advance Hope to Our World, we’re praying and planning to send 1,000 people on short-term mission trips over the next few years. These trips are about awakening hearts, building relationships, and equipping everyday people to live on mission wherever they are.

Advancing Hope also means restoring hope right here at home. Through The Porch, our Mesa Outreach Center, lives are being transformed; freedom from addiction, families restored, and people discovering they are known and loved by God. Expanding this outreach means more meals served, more safe spaces created, and more opportunities for people to encounter Jesus in life-changing ways.
